It All Begins HereBROCHURE DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURERS, SYSTEM HOUSES AND RETAILERS.
I design brochures that help businesses explain what they do clearly, attractively and with a bit of proper human care. A good brochure is more than a collection of pages. It is often the piece of marketing someone picks up, keeps on their desk, takes home, shows to a customer, or refers back to when they are making a decision. It needs to look professional, but it also needs to feel useful, easy to read and believable.
My approach to brochure design is simple. I listen first, understand what needs to be said, then turn that information into something well organised, visually appealing and suited to the people who will actually be reading it. I do not believe in filling brochures with empty marketing phrases or complicated language. Most people just want to know what you offer, why it matters, what makes it good, and how to take the next step.
I can help with all types of brochure design, from small product leaflets and sales handouts to larger company brochures, catalogues, technical guides, showroom literature and homeowner-facing product ranges. Some brochures need to feel polished and premium. Others need to be practical, direct and easy for a sales team to use. Often, they need to do both.
Because I have worked across design, photography, copywriting, print and marketing for many years, I can look after much more than simply laying out the pages. I can help shape the structure, suggest what content should go where, tidy up existing text, write new copy, prepare images, create diagrams, choose a suitable format, and make sure the finished piece feels joined-up from front cover to back page.
For businesses in windows, doors, glazing, home improvement, interiors, building products and related trades, I also understand that brochures often need to explain products that can be quite detailed. The challenge is to make those details clear without overwhelming the reader. Whether it is showing different window styles, door options, finishes, colours, glazing choices, technical benefits, installation examples or service packages, the brochure needs to guide people through the information in a calm and logical way.
I pay close attention to how a brochure works in real life. Is the cover strong enough to make someone open it? Is the main message clear? Can a customer quickly find the product or service they are interested in? Are the images doing enough of the talking? Does the design feel trustworthy? Does it suit your business, rather than looking like something copied from a template?
Photography can also play a big part. Where possible, I like to use real project images, real products and real examples of your work. Stock images can sometimes help, but nothing builds trust quite like showing what your business has actually done. I can photograph installations, products, showrooms, staff, workshops and details, then use those images throughout your brochure, website and other marketing material.
I also understand the importance of print. A brochure should not only look good on screen. It should feel right when it is printed, folded, handed over or posted. I can prepare artwork properly for professional printing, allowing for the right page sizes, bleed, image quality, colour setup and file requirements. I can also help liaise with printers if needed, so the process feels less mysterious and less of a headache.
My style is friendly, practical and straightforward. I like brochures that have breathing space, clear headings, strong images and wording that sounds like it came from a real person. The aim is not to shout at the reader. The aim is to help them understand, feel confident and see the value in what you offer.
Whether you need a completely new brochure, a refresh of an old one, or a smaller leaflet to support a particular product or campaign, I can help you create something that looks professional, reads well and works hard for your business.
